St. Rui., Minn.. Jnly 18.- The last day of the Xational Editorial association was confined to the reporta of eommitteeg and the election of oflicers. The tegislative oommittee recommended that active steps be taken to secure such legislation as will repeal the present law which permits the government to print return requests on envelopes. The resolutions adopted tendered the tlianks of the assofliation tn the railway oflicials, the citizL'iis of St I'uul and all wlio have taken part in the entertainment of the visitors. The new officers selected are as follows: I'rcsiitrnt. W. S. Capellar, of Ohio; first vice president, B. B. Price, of Wisconsin; second vice pi-esident, T. Sambola Jones, of Louisiana; oorreaponding secretary, 3, M. Page, of Illinois; secretary,W. Kennedy, of Pennsylvania: reeording seeretary, Miss Virginia Clay, of Alabaraa; treasurer, A. 1!. Lowric, of Illinois.
