In the parade at Detroit last Tuesday were one bundred and three bande, consisting of 1658 men. Fifty-nine bands were brass, forty-three fife and drum and one bag pipe; of these Michigan had thirty-Eeven bands, twenty four brass and thirteen fife and drums, 440 men in all. No drum majors are taken. Michigan bands all had a drum major but one, which would add thirtysix to Michigan, and one band from away carne without, which would add sixty-fiye, or one hundred and one in all, making 1759 band men in the
