The twenty-fifth anniversary of Dr. F. H. Brown was remembered on Tuesday erening by a pleasant surpriseparty at his home, 28 Thompson-st. A party of twenty ladies and gent lemen tendered Mr. and Mrs. D. F. Allmendinger a surprise, Monday evening, that being the 20th anni versan' of their marriage. Miss Ruth Hoppin, who last June received her M. A. degree from the University, left Monday for a visit in Grand Rapids. Thence she goes to Grand Forks, North Dakota, having accepted a position in the college locnted at that city.
