Eeports to the state board of heajth by Bixty observers in different parts o the state for the week ended August 18 Indicated that typho-malarial fever, diphtheria, and cerebro-spinal meningitis increased, typhoid fever, inflamóiation of the brain, pneumonía and ecarlet fever decreased in area of prevalencc. Diphtheria was reported at twenty-seven places, scarlet fever at (orty-four, typkoid fever at twenty-fire and measles at ten places.
