Charged With Conspiracy

Chicago, Aug. 22. - Siegel, Cooper fc Co. have caused the arrest of Thonías Higgins, their head porter, and threS colored men in their employment, oft the charge of conspiring to give testimony that would prevent the recentljburned-out firm from obtaining thait insurance. The men are also charged with having demanded 820,000 from the fjrm under threat of swearing tliat the firè was started with the knowledge of the company.
