We here reproduce from theFancier's Journal the picture of an Indian game cock which was a prizo winner at some of the big poultry shows during the past winter. As may be seen from the cut, the general appearance of the Indian game is that of a powerful bird, the body being very broad and breast oval and prominent. The breast plomage in the male is green black, as is the tail, the bird being chestnut in color. It ie claimed that this breed, about wbicb fanciers have talked so mnch of late, is a general purpose fowl, with many excellent quantities. As yet farmers have had but little experience â– with the Indian games.
