Shelton, Conn., Sept 4. - The flrst shipment of the new postal cards made at the factory here lias just been sent off. There were 7,000,000 of the large manilla or buness men's eards and 5,000,000 of the pearl-gray cards for ladies. They were sent to the St Louis sub-ageney. They will not be issued until the Chicago agency is supplied and there is an accumulation at the factory.
