Londox, Sept 15. - The war clouds are approaching. A sensation was caused here Monday by the receipt oí a dispateh announcing t"at Sigri, on ,he west coast of the island oí Mityene, an island belonging to Turkeyi near the coast oí Asia Minor and withn easy steaming distance of the Dardanelles, lias been occupied by a de;achment of British troops or mar ipes, apded there from a British ironclad. Late Monday evening another and Btill more startlingf dispateh comes by telegraph from Athens. It is that taL Greek consuls at Mitylene and ö Smyrna have wired the Greek govyrament that thirteen British men of a.r landed troops and gifhs at Sigri Friday and that they have already strongly fortified that place.
