Por several years the ladies of Ann Arbor have maintained alibrary association whose objeots are both literary and social. The number of ├▒ames enrolled at the last annual meeting was 122, and some have been added since that time. A fine building, which oost over 83,000, is used by the ladies as a meeting-place and as a library. The number of books on the shelves considerably exeeeds 3,000 and Bix magazines are taken. The main room has a smooth hard wood fioor and is often used by email private dancing porties. The Ladies' Library Association is an important factor in the life of many Ann Arbor ladies.
