Holland ale, Miss., Sept. 29. - Saturday night a colored woman named Lou Stevenson called John Davis (white bartcnder) from a saloon, and while she engaged him in conversation a negro named Urant White appeared on the scène and shot Davis, hun instantly, without provocation. Wliite fled, but was captured near Wa.y Side and broughtback to the scène of the muider. The infuriated populace luinged both White and the woman, Lou Stevenson. to a railroad bi the town during the eariy houra of Monday ninrninsr.
