St. Louis, Sept. 28.- In the sovergig-n grand lodgre, I. O. O. F., the constitutlonal amendmcnt providing for admission inlo the order of youths of 18 years was defeated by a vote of 107 to 58, the necessary three-fourths vote not havintf been obtained. The lodge also decided to postpone for ayear consideration of the liquor question. Ihe effect of this wül be to leave saloon keepers eligible for a year to come.
