Death Of Miss Rebecca Henriques
Ann Arbor people were greatly shocked last Saturday morning at the sudden and Hnexpected death of Miss Rebecca Henriques at her residence, 24 South Fifth avenue. Until 10 o'clock .Saturday morning Miss Henriques was in apparently as good health as usual, and was about her household duties, without any premonition of her impendingfate, when she was suddenly seized with a severe pain in her head and expired in a few minutes. Her death was, in all probability, due to heart disease. The funeral services, conducted by the Rev. Mr. Tatlock were beid at the residence at half-past 4 Monday afternoon ; the burial, at halfpast 10 o'clock Tuesday morning, was private, only the immediate relatives being present. The floral decorations were very beautiful. Among the relatives from away who attended the funeral services were Mrs. Beavis, of Toronto, Canada ; Mrs. Jessie Evans and Mr. and. Mrs. Prof. C. N. Jones, of Milwaukee, Wis., and Mr. J. E. Henriques, of Chicago, 111. Dr. E. C. nenriques, of Las Vegas, N. M., and Mrs Crawford, of Philadelphia, were unable' to atiend. A will, made in 1881, names Mr. John M. Wheeler adininistrator.
