DUBLIN, Oct. 12. - adrenching rain tlie rcmains of Charles Stewart Parnell were luid to rest at 6 p. m. last evening at Ulasnevin. The funeral was one of the most imposing1 ever held ia Ireland. Special trains from all parta of the country brouffht tens of thousands of sad-hearted [rishmen to Dublin. The utmost griel was everywhere manifest. expressions bein; heard on every side indicating1 that ïnany could hardly believe their great and beloved leader could have so suddenly departed. The coflin dnrinif the procession rcsted on an open hearse, ihe floral desipn aecompanying it being1 the one sent by the widow (who was'too ill to attend) bearing1 the words: "To My Own True Lovc, Aly Hnsband, Mjr King." Eevs. Vincent and I'rre read the burial service by the lig'bt of lanterns. The tliousancls within hearing listened reverently, and al! joined tearfully in the recitation of the Lori's Prayer. As soon as the grave was 611ed up the crowd slowly and quietly dispersed.
