Another family from Manchester has taken up an abode here, Mrs. Mariüa Morey and danghter Florence, who will open dressmaking in our cily. The eistest elite of the town as well asrepresentatives from other burgs, attended a fine reception at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Andrews, last evering. It was an exceedingly pleasant afiair, due to the admirable tact shown by bost and hostess, in entertatning so great a number. The Presbyterians are being dosed with a good old fashioned allopatbic dose on the subject of cardpiaying, theatres and dancing. The sermona are logical and full of truthful hits, so many of the flock squirm and feel uncomfortable but say "it's all right."
