The county has beendivided into two new representativo districts. The first, consisting of Salem, Northfield, Webster, Dexter, Lyndon, Sylvan, Lima, Scio, Ann Arbor and Freedom, has a population of 21,717; the second, consisting of Sharon, Lodi, Pittsfield, Superior, Ypsilanti, Manchester, Bridgewater, Saline. York and Augusta, has 20,493 people. Supervisor Kearns was paid $3.00 a day for his services on the state equalization board at Lansing.
