A resolutionintroducedby Supervisor Case was passed on Monday, thanking the prosecuting attorney for his efforts in compelling the payment of liquor taxes and appropriating $200 for his services. Over $6,000 has been covered into the county treasury through the efforts of Mr. Lehman. Harrison Euthruff has been reappointed drain commissioner. The estimated expenses of the county for the ensuing yearare $35,000. Dr. John Kapp will attendsick prisoners in the jail for J35, rïnring the ensuing year. Jacob Stark will serve as jnitor for 6475 a year. The Farmers and Mechanics Bank will take care of cöunty funds next year, paying 3L per cent, for balances and charging 5J per cent, for overdrafts. The county has beendivided into two new representativo districts. The first, consisting of Salem, Northfield, Webster, Dexter, Lyndon, Sylvan, Lima, Scio, Ann Arbor and Freedom, has a population of 21,717; the second, consisting of Sharon, Lodi, Pittsfield, Superior, Ypsilanti, Manchester, Bridgewater, Saline. York and Augusta, has 20,493 people. Supervisor Kearns was paid $3.00 a day for his services on the state equalization board at Lansing.
