Terrible Revenge

Qükex City, Tex.. Oct 27.- The negro, Lee Green, who murdered the wife and child of Farmer Law, T miles from this place, on Saturday, was on Monday burned at the stake n sijfht of the scène of his doublé crime. Beíore he died he eonfessed the murders and said that he committed the crime for the money, 160, which he obtained. The crowd which witnessed the burning1 of the murderer numbered about 1,000 and was made np about equally of whites and blaeks. There was no attempt to conceal the identity. of any of those engaged in the execution, all of them being friends of Mr. Law and having known the negro.
