A Packing-house Destroyed

MauShai.i.towx. la., Oct. '27. -The pork-packinr of Hrittain & Co., employing 150 men, burned Monday night. The fire was oaused by the explosión of ;i kerosene lamp which Mr. Bell, one of the proprietors, was carrying. The stock of fig-ht and packed prolucts was burned. The loss will reach $50.000: insurancc, $iiV.J,noo. The plant will bc rebuilt.
