Sai.em, Mass., Oct. 28.- The firsi legal batüe over the will of the late Mrs. Francés Sherwood Hopkins-Searles ended Saturday with a victovy for the legatee, Kcwin F. Searles. By the ruling of th court the will is admitted to probate, but the case will be hotly eontested on other pointe which were not adml sible in the probate court. When Judgfe Harmon decided to sustain the will au immediate notice of appeal was given, and the fight for 875,000,000 may ba said to be fairly begun.
