xokohama, Nov. 2.- Latest newg from the sections visited by the earth quake last Wednesday show that the resulta were terrible in the extreme. The lovvest estimate places the loss of life at 24,000. The towns of Nagoya, Gifu and Oja'ca were completely destroyed.
