The Waterways

Detroit, Mich., Nov. 23 -The waterways convention has been called to meet in this city December 17. The convention will consider the best means of securing a 21 íoot channel from Dulath and Chicago to Buffalo, and also liow a new ship canal to the sea might be constructed. The cooperation of all commercial organizations in the citics along the lakes, and such cities as Minneapolis and St. Paul, peculiarly interested in the transportation, is invited.
