The Teachers' Association of Wash tenaw county will hold an institute in Ypsilanti, comraencing with tomorrow night. The following papers will be delivered:Friday - Addressof Welcome, W. M. Osband, of Ypsilanti; Response, M. J. Cavanaugh; Address, Hon. Ferria S. Fitch; What the Public School should do, Hon. E. P. Allen; What the Public Schools are doing, Prof. J. Montgomery, Ann Arbor; The School of Today and the School of Fifty Years Ago, Chas. Woodruff; "The Successful Teacher," Supt. M. A. Whitney, Ypsilanti; "The True Basis of Correct Methods of Teaching, Prof. Daniel Putnazn, Ypsilanti; Geography.I'racticalLesson.MissKmma McNeal, Ypsilanti; Geograpby, Practical Lesson, Miss Kat e Landfair, Ypsilanti; Paper, Benefit of Grading District Schools, Mis Josephino Hoppe, Sylvan; Paper, Discussion of Same, Prof. E. D. Walker, Dexter; Paper, Word Analysis Julia M. Conklin, Manchester; Papert Some Primary Devices, Mre. Myrs Lawrence, Saline schools. Music will ba rendered at intervals by the following ladies: Miases Rose Seery and Hattie Long, of Ann Arbor; Misses Carrie Chandler, Olive Pacey, Anna Qeiske, Mildred Murray and Julia Stebbins.
