The festival of the Immaculate Couception was observed Monday in S'. ThomaV church. There will be a tea social at Harria Hall Ihia evoning at 6 o'clock, at which a collectiun of water colors by Misa Roby, of Detroit, will be exhibited. The new cushions and hymn Look for the gallery in the Presbyterian church were used for the first time, Sunday. Tlie new organ will be in plaoe abuut January 1. Rv. J. T. Sunderland, of the Unitarian church, will preach next Sunday morning on the "Doctrine of the Incarnation." In the evening a lecture will begivtsu ou the ' R ligions of Egypt." Next Sunday morning Rev. C. M. Cobern will preach a special sermón, the topic beini? "The Walk, the Race an.i the Eagle Fiight." The choir will render an autheoa, "0 !e joyful in the Lord" in B flat.by Dudley Buck, and a soprano solo will be given "O that I had wings like a dove," by MendelssohnRev. Cunden M. Cobern will deliver a lecture, Tuefday evening in the Methodist chunli, on "TheTiirkc, Ar.ibs and Egyptians." This will be a sketch of personal exploration and adventure in Egypt during recent years.
