Papers relatiye to the electioii of Wilkinson Cali (Fia.), wliose seat ík cohtested by R. Davidson, were duly presented. When the name oí Caichi S. Brice, senator-elect from Ohio, was called, Senator Sherman (0.) said that as Mr. Brice had his credentials he was entitled to be sworn in% but that this wu not to be considered as waiving any rights il the Ohio legiglftture should discover Mr. Brice was ijjeUgible. All who presented themselves were fiworn in except Messrs.. DuboSe, oi Idaho, and Cali, oí Florida, Senator Hale (Me.) objected. to Mr. Uuboie takiog the oath Senator George (Mia#.) contended for the formal admissios oí Mr Cali.
