Rev. Maltby Gelston

A long active and benefícent career was terminated last Sunday afternoon when the Rev. Maltby Gelston breathtd lis last at bis residence on Washington st. He was born in Sherman, Connect. icut, in 1805, graduated from Yale at the age of 22 and from the New Haven Tbeological Seminary soon after, and spent fully forty years in active Chrisian labor. He has been a citizen of Ann Arbor for about twenty year?, the ast eigbt of which he has been an invalid owing to a Btroke of paralysis. Thefuiieral tervices occurred lastTuesday afternoon at the house the Rev. Dr. Steele of Detroit, and the Rev. W. W. iVetmore of this city, officiating.
