The St. Louis Republic recently contained the following account of the activity in good works of the late Mrs. Ellen McKeighan, wife of Judge J. E. McKeighun, of St. Louis. She was the daughterof Judge T. C. Cutter of Newton, Kansas, and was bom in Ann Arbor. She died at the age of 48 af ter a severeillness of several months. She was a devoted member of the Unitarian church and two years ao was elected president of the Elliott society. which controla all church work She possessed wonderful ability and was a leading spirit in that organization. She was also a member of the Wednesday club, the most prominent ladies' literary society in the city. She was also a member of the art class, in which she took a deep interest. Mrs. McKeighan was also a member of the Church Charity Board and there she exerted all her powers to' aid the needy . She was the mother of four children, three of whom are living, liobert, the eldest, aged 15; Mabel 11 and Nelly 8 years of age.
