Niw York, May 20. - The Spanish steamer Maria Christina, having on board the Spanish Infanta Eulalie, the official representative in this country of Queen-Regent Christina, arrived at quarantine Thursday evening. Prince Antonio d'Orleans, husband of the princess, is with her on the steamer. Her suite consists of the duke of Tamanes, chamberlain to the infanta, and two ladies-in-waiting. New York, May 20. - During Thursday night health officers boarded the Christina, lying off quarantinj, on which was quarterec1. the Spanish infanta, Eulalie, and her escort, and corded the party permission to proceed on their journey to Washington without delay. Washington, May 2(X - Infanta Eulalie arrived here at 8:30 o'clock lust night. The party was met by Secretary Oresham and Col. Wilson, represen ting the president, and escorted to the Arlington hotel. Washington, May 23.- At 11 รถ'cloek Saturday Infanta Eulalie and her suite had the pleasure of calling on President Cleveland and his charminr wife. The royal party was received in the blue parlor, and those who anticipated a programme of bewilderinf,'- formality were disappointed. On the contrary it was a very informal affair. There was a pleasant convorsation which lasted about a quarter of an hour, whenthe royal visitors withdrew and retired to their hotel.
