Lost In Sight Of Shore

Harry Bood, aged 18, and Thomas Slager, aged 17, were drowned in Muskegon Jake. They were out in a small boat, which capsized within 100 feet of the shore. Although both were expert swimmers, they were unable to save themselves and sank before assistance could reach them.
