Des Moines, la., June 2.- The proMbition state convention adjourned lato Thursday afternoon after putting a full stato ticket in the field and adoptinfj a voluminous platform. The ticket is as follows: Por governor. B. a Aylesworth, of Des Moines: for lieutenant governor, J. C. Reed, of Delta: for superintendent of public instruction, Misi Belle H. Mix, of Daaville; for supremo Judge, J. A. Harrey, of Polk City; for railroad commiisloner, E. H. Gillette, of Des Moine.1. The resolutlons adopted were, in brief, as follows: They reafflrm the Cincinnati platform, declare the liquor issue the "paramount one, aver that the present prohibitory law of Iowa must be strengtbened, and declare the recent dysamlte eiploslons In Muscatine as due to the hihly culpable example of th governor of Iowa. Taking up other questions the platform ciares in favor of a passenger rallroad rate of two cents, íavors an extensión of suffrage to women, for a repeal of the tariff duties on necessaries of life. and that tariff revenues be limited to the wants of the government Restriction of immigratlon Is urged, a repeal of the Geary law and the establishment of postal savings banks and postal telegraph, as well as the reduction of letter postage to one cent an ounce. An additional resolution wai adopted denounclng Sunday opening of the world's ialr and calling on the president tu stop this "sin agalnst high Heaven and the rebellion agalnst the government"
