Chicago, June 18. - Ex-President Harrison arrived froni Indianapolis on an early train Monday. and was met by President Palmer. Immediately aíter breakfast Mr. Harrison went to Jackson park, and spent the day in adiniring the beauties of the world's fair. The visit was entirely oí an infosmal nature and there were no exercises or ceremonies arranged for the welcome or entertainment. When the ex-president arrived at the Administration building there were severa! hundred people sitting about on the benches. lie was reeognized and heartily applauded. He acknowledged the compliment by removinff his hat and bowing. He will spend several days at the fair, and on Thursday will make the principal address at the dedication oí the Indiana state building.
