Ask For A National Fast Day

Denver, Col., Aug. 14. - At a noon meetiDg oí the pastors of Denver Sunday a memorial was adopted to be sent to President Cleveland asking him to appoint a day of fasting and prayer when the people of the nation can meet together in their houses of worship and ask the Almighty to lighten the burdens which are now oppressing the people of the land.
