Lkbanox, Ky., April 8. - Lewil J. ItatliiT was killed at llowardstown Sunday by a man named Mahoney. Ratlilï went to Mahoney's distillery early and quarreled witta the owner, who struck him a fearful blow in the head with a hatchet. The infuriated man then dragg-ed Ratliff's lifeless form a short distauce and placinr his neck across a lop, eompletely severed the hcad from the booy.
