Masonic Jubilee
The Grand Lodge of P. & A. M. of Michigan will celébrate its golden jubilee in Detroit, on Thursday, Jan. 24. Frank T. Lodge, W. M. of Oriental Lodge, F. & A. M , of Detroit, has been named chairman of the ccmmittee that will make all arrangernents. The celebration will folio w the of the corner stone of the new Masonic temple on Wednesday, Jan. 23, and will bean elabórate affair. It is to commemorate the Mrst meeting of the Grand Lodge of Michigan F. & A. M., which was held Jan. 24,1845. At the laying of the corner stone one of the features will be a big parade, in which the different branches of the order will take part. It is probable that not only the grand lodge will be in attendance on the exercises, but that every other state body of Masons, including the grand commandery and grand ehapter, will also bo in Detroit to assist in the celebration. The Detroit commanderies of Knights Templar are making preparations to turn out with almost their entire numerical strength and in full Templar uniform.
