Giles Lee, of No. 10 N. State-st., died at 10:30 o'elock last Thursday night, at the age of 57 years. He has been a re-, sident ofthls city for about five years, coming here with his f amily f rom Green Oak,Livingston county. For the last few years he has been in ill health, but was taken worse on Monday and gradually sank away. The cause of hia death was not definitely known and a post-mortem examination was held this afternoon by Dr. Vaughan. It wa9 probably some kidney trouble. The deceased was a respocted citizen of Green Oak for many years, holding the office of supervisor of that township for about 20 years. He leaves a wife and two sons to mourn his death. One of his sons, J. H. Lee, is principal of the Mt. Clemens schools, and the other, L. B. Lee, is attending the University. The funeral was held Monday afternoon at ;i o'clock at the house, Rev. C. M. Cobern, oöiciating. -
