Michigan sends 26 students to Yale and '23 to Harvard. E. B. Baker, a student in the Univ., is a son of the recentiy elected senator Baker, of Kansas. If you see a co-ed with both ankles and both wrists heavüy bandaged, don 't be surprised, she has only been "gyming." Out of 224 new lockers ordered for the Waterman Gym, all but four have been engaged. Evidently the gym is popular. Rumor has it that Mrs. Alice Freeman Palmer has handed in herresignation as dean of thewoman's department of Chicago University. Prof. A. B. Hinsdale, of thia city, and Supt. M. A. Whitney and President R. G. Boone, of Ypsilanti, are members of a eommittee of ten to present a model course of study to the next meeting of the State Teacher's Association. The Faculty Concert last Thursday night was the fourth of the series. The first part consisted of a suite of four movements in E. flat by Goldmark rendered upon a violin and piano by Air. Zeitz and Miss Jaffe. This was followed by a series of old Ireland songs by Mr. Lamson. The third part consisted in a rendering of a "Scherzo" byCarlier by Mr. Jones. The closing number upon the violin by Mr. Zeitz was accompanied by Miss Jaffe. The concert was one of the most pleasing of tho series.
