The list this year eomprises twentysix young mon and women, two of whom will endeavor to secure a doctors' degree and the other the master's degree. At compared with last year the list is much larger. The names of the candidates and the degrecs sought are as follows: The two candidates for doctor 's degrees are Frank Haigh Dixon, Ph. B., '92, and Ella Adelaide Knapp, A. B., Kalamazoo College, 1888, A. .14. 1890. The subject of Mr. Dixon's thesis is "Railroad Control in Iovva.'' That of Miss Knapp is "A Ötudy of Thoreau.'
