The Field Day held last week showed good work and resulted in the breaking of five records. The 120 yds. hurdle record was knocked out oí time by D. R. Stuart, 96 by 1-5 of a second. He also broke the 220 yds. hurdle record by 3;5tbs of a second. Hall raised the record for putting the shot four feet and hree inehes. He also threw the hammer nine feet and seven inches further han it has ever been thrown here beore. The broad jump record was also brokun by Leroy. There was but a smal' crowd in attendance. The following is a record of the events and the winne: s. 100 yards dash- Porter, first: Mulheron, second; Heald, third. Time 10 2-5 s. 220 yards dash - Hodgman won in 22 3-5 s. 440 yards run- Moore, first; Hodgman, second ; Heald, third. Time, 50 1-5 s. 880 yards run - Horton won in 2 m. 10 s. 120 yards hurdle- Stuart won in 17 s. 220 yards hurdle- Stuart won in 26 4-5 s. Running high jump- Vernor, 5 ft. 5 n. Running broad jump- LeRoy 21 ft. ; Martin, second. Shot put- Hall, 44 ft. "in.; Finley, second. Hammer throw- Hall, 104 ft. 4 in. ; Finley, second. Pole vault- Hutchinson, 9 ft. 6 in. ; Palmer, second.
