His 90th Birthday
Daniel B. Brown, oí S. st., celebrated his 90th birthday yesterday at the residence of Mr. D. F. Allmendinger. About a dozen of Mr. Brown's oíd pioneer friends sat down to a bountiful dinner with him. Among these were Mr. Phillip Baeh, Mr. Sperry, Mr. Alien and a number of others. Mr. Brown carne to Ann Arbor in 1824. He is probably the cldest resident in the county today. He has filled macy positions of honor and trust. He was one of the founders of the flrst Baptist church and was a trustee for 47 years. He was sheriff of the county for many years. Before the state sold the Michigan Central railroad to the present Corapany. Mr. Brown was superintendent. He had charge of the building the road between here and Jaokson.
