Since lts organization last summer the Anti-Tramp Society has applied the '"labor-test" in the form of a sawbuck to several hundred tramps. At least four out of tive, however, prefer to live by begging and are looking for work only to avoid it. Although the fact that many people still persist in feeding tramps, instead of sending them to the enine-house on Huron-st., hinders the society 's useful. ness, yet the omcers bélieve that muoh good has been done.
