ihe bouthern Pacific overland train, northbound, was stopped by three high way men near Riddles, Ore. , and robbed. Sticks of dynamite were placed on the rails whièh disabled the engine and broug-ht the train to a stop. The robbers looted the express and muil cars and also held up the passengers. The workingmen and the ladies on the tri in were not molested. The amount secutad i estima'ted at 81,000. Omaha lias been stirred up by one of the bjoodiest tragedies in its history.
