Not A Bit Afraid
Ann Arbor, July 20th, 1895. Converse G. Cook, Mngr. P. N. of P. Ball Club: Business before pleasure, Mr. Cook, but we feel we can easily spare the time to do a "small job" like the one you offer, therefore we propose to"clean up" on your "bold-faced" aggregation Saturday August 10. In this contest "everything groes on the hook"and you must take it as it comes: use "modern faces," do everything on the "point system" and when the "jig is up," "paste your dupes"' and we will measure up our strings.
