Four men were instantly killed tvhile crossing the Fitchburg railroad near Williamstown, Mass. A party of s;x men were riding in a two-seated, :overed carriage. when they were truck by a west-bound express. Two oí the men escaped by jumping. Wm. Lunstedt and five others of New York City went out for a sail and ere caught in a storm which capsized the boat and all but Lunstedt drowned. Chief of Polic White, of Omaha, has discharged 5 alleged political and sedarían agitators from the pólice forcé. The edict has been issued by the chief that policemen must not let political and relig-ious art'airs interiore with their duties as officers. Four masked men went to the house _if John Miblin, near Ashland, O., and bat te red down the door with i fence rail, The men then bound and gagged Miblin and his wite and tortured the ;ouple, burning matches to to their feet and hands.
