Fred. Tinker Sundayed in Jackson. D. F. Sohairer is back f rom his eastern trip. John Sohlee has returned from his trip to the Soo. Joe T. Jacobs lias gone to Rochester, N.Y. on business. Geo. S. Vandawarker wili clerk for Mr. 13. St James. Ilev. A. B. Wood, of Dexter, will remove to this city. D. C. Goodspeed went to Boston last week on business. Miss Anna Wetmore is visiting friends in Detroit. Miss Alice Bullis is back from a two weeks visit at Clinton. Mrs. H. J. Brown and family are back from their eastern trip. Dr. A. K. Hale has gone north to escape an attack of hay fever. E. H. Scott and family are home from their summer at Old Mission. Mr. and Mrs. Martin Haller are back from their visit at Kochester, N. Y. Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Whiting went to Howard City last week for a short visit. Miss Dinx Dunster has gone to Harrisville to resume her work as teacher. Mrs. A. L. Noble and daughterEdith, are back from their outing at Petoskey. W. W. Wedemeyer has returned from a rather lengthy visit at Kalamazoo. Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Clark, of Pittsfield, Mass., are visiting relatives in the city. Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Goodyear returned Monday night from a visit at the sea shore. Frank Legg was in Toledo Tuesday doing business for the Ann Arbor Organ Co. A son was bom to Mr. and Mrs. Frank Moore, of Fountain-st., last week Wednesday. Attys Freeman and Waters, of Manchester, were in the city Tuesday on legal business. Geo. Blum was among the flrst of the Ann Arborites to return from the conclave at Boston. Mrs. T. W. Mingay has gone to Bovvmanville, Ontario, to spend two weeks with her parents. Karl E. Harriman left Monday for Toledo. He is on the staff of the Toledo Commerical. Miss Mable Perry has returned from a two weeks' visit with her brother, Ernest, at Bay City. Robert Phillips, cashier of the State Savings Bank, has gone to London, Ontario for a two weeks' vacation. Ed. Wolfel, of the Noble Star Clothing 'House, has gone to New York to purchase fall and winter goods. Miss Edith Popkins and Miss Grace Haven leave this morning for Toledo and Napoleon, O-, for a two weeks' visit. Rev. E. D. Kelly returned last Saturday night from his trip to Montreal' Quebec, Boston, and other eastern points. Miss May Judson, who has been visiting in the city has returned to Lansing. She has a position in the offiue of the Auditor general. Ed. C. DeWolf has left for his home in Michigan City, Ind. He will leavc in about a week for Lafayette, ind., to enter Perdue college. President Angelí, who v ith Mrs. Angelí, is at Halifax, N. S. has been quite ill for thepast week. The latest reporta say that he is improving. Prof. and Mrs. 'W.K. Clement who returned a week ago from their wedding trip in the east, left Monday night for their future home in Moscow, Idaho. Miss Sheldon, of South Ingalls-9t., a former student of the Stenographic Institute, now a stenographer with the Werner Co., of Chicago, is home on a Tisit. Mrs. Elizabeth Wies, of Washtenaw ave. and her daughter, Pauline, left Monday for Oscaloosa, Iowa, where the latter has a position as teacher in I'enn. College. Rupert and Mamie Koch have returned from their visit with Fred and William Kulm in Fowlervülo. Mr. and Mrs. Kuhn returned with them to spend a few days with Aid. and Mrs. John Koch.
