Office of the Board of Public Works, I Ann Arbor, September 18th, 18!a. Regular session. Called to order by President Clark. Present, Pres. Clark, Bullis, Ross. The minuets of the last regular session and all succeeding specials were read and approved. Mr. Bullis moved that the resolution of the Board passed on Sept. 7 ing Sewer Inspector waru w uc be dug up and relaid where necessary, the house branches in the Liberty street sewer, is. hereby ratified and passeci. Yeas- Pres. Clark, Bullis, Ross- 3. Ni)i'S- Noae. Mr. Bullis moved that the private sewer that connects with the property Of A. J. Sawyer, et., al, be allowed to connect with the Packard portion oí Hill street sewer at the manhole under the supervisión of the plumbing inspector. Yeas- Pres. Clark, Bulüs. Ross- 3. Nays- None. Mr' Ross moved that the Clerk be authorized to advertise for bids for parkino- that portion of the park on South University as directed by the Oouncil. Yeas- Pres. Clark. Bullis, Ross-3. Nays- None. Mi' Bullis moved that the President of 'üiiBoará confer with the members of the Gpuncil upon the advisibility of a paHaJihrough the park in the center ofS. University avenue at the ing of South Ingalls street, and that the same be so recommended to the council. Yeas- Pres. Clark, Bullis, Ross- 3. Nays- None. Mr. Bullis moved that the Street Commissioner remove the surplus soil on S. University avenue to the park as directed by the council. Yeas- Pres. Clark, Bullis, Ross- 3. Nays - None. Mr. Bullis moved that the President of the Board grant Mrs. Kittredge the privilege of removing a tree in the street in front of 25 S. División if he deern the same advisable. Yeas- Pres. Clark, Bullis, Ross- 3. Nays - None. Mr. Bullis moved that the Board concur in the reeommenclation of the Council for extensión of time for buildingcertain sidewalks providing they agree to build the same next year. Yeas- Pres. Clark, Bullis, Ross- 3. Nays - None. Pres. Clark moved that the contract for building the walk along the side of 78 E. Ann street be withdi'awn and that the contractor be notified of such action.
