Severe colds in the head followed bj' attacks of catarrh are apt to be common during the early fall months of the year. Constant chances in atmosphere, brisk winds and wet feet are followed by symptoms that indicacte a prevalenee of this disease. Great care should be taken ; often these attacks result in pneumonia. I have always feit that an "'ounce of prevention was worth a pound of cure"' in medicine, and that it was wise to heed these warnings. Don't take cold, but if you do, on the first symptons, obtain f rom your nearest drugfgist a jar of Pretzinger's Catarrh Balm and apply it freely to the nostrils several times each day, especially before retiring at nigrht. This invaluable prepartion I have prescribed for a number of years and have invariably found it most eflicacious. The eamphors whieh it can-ies m large quant ities are special ly healing for the inflamed and the diseased organs of the head. In my general proetice I have never known a case of catarrh. oo matter of how long standing, that this pi-epai-ation would not cure. Wylliss S. Brown, 11 D.
