During the firat eight months of last year 222,755 horsee, Talued at $2,947,000, werá shipped to BrlUsh ports, as agalnst 15,614 in the same period of 1894, and 10,177 Ín 1893. The eshipments to continental porta show a large increase, too. The variety of horses Ín demand are different in almost every country in Europe.
