King-, of the Normal School, whose injury by a fall was reported last week, continúes to fail and now lies in a very critical condition. Mrs. Lockard, who came here recently from Charlotte to turnish a home for her daughter while studying at the. Normal, was taken suddeuly and dangerously ill with heart disease, laxt Monday, and is little if any improved Chelsea Standabd. Rev. and Mrs. G. Eisen and family left for Detroit today, where they wül make their future home. Miss Agnes McKune, of Detroit, is spending several weeks with hor párente, Mr. and Mrs. T. MoKune. Mrs. Joseph Hammerschmidt was badly burned by the ignition of the gasoline she had poured into her wAshing suds, Monday. It is thought the burns will leave no scars. Saline Observer. Rev. T. B.
