San Francisco, Oct. 23.- Dan Stuart, he pugilistic impressario. has arrived in this city from bhe south, and ays he will spenú a few days in this ity, principally on pleasuvu. Though eluctant to speak on present pugilisic topics he aetonished San Franeisans by saying that he thought Corbett nd Fitzsimmons would really fight a quare fight some time before the lst f March. He said he did uot leave New York until he was v-il assured hat not only had Corbett and Fitzimmons put up their money, but that bey had signed articles, and had done other things necessary to assure the fight being brought off. He denied the accusation that Corbett and Fitzsimmons were both going back so fast hat they did not daré fight a new strong man, and said that they could not admit in New York state that they íad signed articles for a prize fight.
