Smith Sustained
The senior elass held a meeting last FViday at tour o'clock. The nominal purpose of the meeting was to elect of, Meers for all positions exeept the president but the real question at issue was whether or not the election of Mr. Smith would be sustained. An attempt was made to contest the election of president; sume warm parliraentary puiclice imlulged in and the usual amount of time consumed. It soon became obvious however that the Hy belñjved in the vatidity of the formiT eloetiou and were ready to give their (h-m support to Mr. Smith, so hc is now in undisputed possession of the ciuvir. The remalning oiücers olected are its f ollows : Treas., J. B. Keating ; prophtes8, Miss InezC. Perrin; hFatorian, Miss Oceana Ferry; poet, Arthur M. Smith; orator, H. Ames: track manager, C. H. Chubb; base bttll manager, Stanley Matthews. 'I liu ballot lor treasurer resulted in a tie between ,J. F. Thomas and Miss Walters.
