Washington, Oct. 29.- The opinión U freely expressed by ecclesiastlcs of tha Catholic church Ín Washington that the troubleg withln tihe cJiurch nave not ended wlth the Bishop Keane in. cident and that they will soon be rtnewed at Rome by the parties t the present controversy. It is fully espected by the friends of Dr. Rooker, secretary to tho papal delégate, that thé foroes whlch ibrought about Bishop Keane's retlrement from the Cathollc unlvereity wlll endeavor to secure the retirement of Dr. Rooker, who Ís a friend of Bishop Keane and of Archblshop Ireland. It is supposed that matters may be pushed to a conclusión ono way or the other after Cardinal Satolli's arrival in Rozne. The expectation is that the ñames oí Dr. Conaty and others proposed for the itictorship of the imiversity will not be considered until the sacred congtegatlon, now in eession, reconvenea th second Monday in November, and thai the final decisión will be made Unow early in December.
