Chicago, Nov. 10.- Financially ruinad and utterly deepairing, Hugo M. i Fiedler, an oíd and trusted employé of the city eomptroller's office, committed suicide to-day. The deed was ately planned and there is no evidence of an unbalanced mind. Entering the comptroller's office in "the city hall at the usual hour, Fiedler arranged hiB affairs careiully, retired to an ante-room and shot himself through the head.
